This house was built on a 1.5 ha plot of land, situated in Schilde, near Antwerp. Any remnants of the old house were removed and we started from scratch. When designing the exterior, the decision was made to create the most efficient interior first and adjust the exterior as necessary. The concept was brought together through the use of
complementary colors and materials, inside and out. The use of large windows with small frames facilitates the blending of the interior and exterior in a way that enhances the effect of the garden being capable of being part of the habitable space as well.
